SLIMMING X WEIGHT LOSS

Understand the difference:

Slimming and losing weight are not the same thing. It is possible to lose pounds and still not gain weight.

To lose weight is to lose body fat, which means to decrease adipose tissue.

Losing weight, on the other hand, is simply dropping pounds, which can also result in the loss of lean body mass during this process.

Focusing only on the results of the scale to measure weight loss can lead to frustration and not reflect the gains from exercise.

Other criteria, such as the measurement of abdominal circumference, assess weight loss in a more reliable manner.
